We are proudly working with hundreds of companies like Interswitch and D-local, and many of the largest financial institutions to make it easy for people to securely connect their accounts to the apps and services they choose. The Role

  • It’s an amazing time to join Okra. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Product Marketing Intern to be a part of our Marketing team.
  • This 6-month internship offers an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing Open Finance in Africa, with the potential to convert to a full-time employee.
  • As a Product Marketing Intern, you’ll drive various initiatives aimed at promoting Okra’s products and services.
  • You’ll assist with marketing campaigns, monitor core KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to articulate our product’s value proposition.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the development and execution of product marketing campaigns aimed at driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention, including:
    • Recording video walkthroughs of product features and updates
    • Producing blog articles, customer testimonials and product slides for targeted go-to-market initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, business development and engineering to gather insights and effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage content calendar and support in creation of all marketing materials (videos, text, etc.)
  • Conduct market research to identify market trends, competitive insights, and user needs.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating product-related events, webinars, and user feedback sessions.

What will help you succeed:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Product Marketing or B2B marketing roles, or recently completed a degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for marketing and technology.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, ability to meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in productivity and marketing tools such as Notion, HubSpot, Linear, or similar platforms.
