Description
- At Nestoil, we’re on an evolutionary journey where we’re changing our story. We are looking to hire an experienced CADD (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) Engineer to join our diverse team in our subsidiary, Energy Works Technology Limited (EWT).
- In this role, you will have to carry out preliminary design and fabrication engineering of steel structures, mechanical equipment, piping spools etc. enough for construction and provide related deliverables for the project teams.

Responsibilities
As a CADD Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting tender department to review tender documents, clarify undefined scopes, identify and provide the required engineering deliverables required to submit a competitive bid within the defined timelines
- Generating detailed fabrication drawings complete with materials list table, weld symbols and other relevant information as may be required
- Generating Material Take Off (MTO) from approved engineering drawings for approval
- Capturing engineering changes and effectively communicate to the project leads and functional engineering leads with the right tools in line with project defined templates
- Supporting construction and project team with fabrication installation sequence, project specific site layout arrangements drawing, weld map drawing etc.
- Providing support for generation of as-built engineering documentations
- Performing other duties as assigned by Engineering Leads.
- Ensuring strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related Engineering qualification
- 2-5 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Marine/Oil & Gas Industry
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite packages
- Proficiency in the use of design tools such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Steel Structures etc. for fabrication detailing
- Basic knowledge of International design codes e.g. ASME Section VIII, API 650, B31.3, Eurode etc. for design of Storage Tanks, Pressure vessels, Piping, Pipe support etc.
- Ability to make technical judgment to resolve project technical issues with economic benefit to company revenue
- Display of high accuracy of output and pay attention to details
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
