Job Description

GAF is seeking a dedicated Programme Assistant, starting in September, to support the implementation of our projects in Benin City, Edo State.This full-time role involves assisting with project coordination, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with our mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing project activities and events.

Coordinate logistics for workshops, training sessions, and outreach programs.

Support data collection, entry, and analysis for monitoring and evaluation.

Maintain communication with beneficiaries, stakeholders, and partners.Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation.

Conduct field visits to monitor progress and gather participant feedback.

Assist in preparing promotional materials and social media content.

Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for documentation and promotion.

Write detailed reports on project activities, progress, and outcomes.

Perform other duties as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

OND or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, or a related field.

Prior experience in project implementation or community development preferred.

Basic videography and photography skills with the ability to produce high-quality content preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Familiarity with the local community in Benin City is an advantage.

Fluency in Bini and English.BenefitsBasic salary of N70,000 per month (after probation).
