Job Summary
Department: Digital, Data & Technology Group
The Technical Project Manager will deliver high-priority technical projects that support strategic objectives across the University. The role covers the full project lifecycle, including service transition and handover to Business as Usual operations. The successful candidate will work closely with in-house technical teams and offshore technology partners, bridging technical and business perspectives.

Key Responsibilities
Role Focus
Manage delivery of high-priority technical projects aligned with University strategy
Collaborate with academic and professional teams to address complex challenges
Strengthen project management capabilities across the institution
Engage stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to project teams
Present progress updates and insights to the Project Board
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience delivering complex technical or IT projects in large organisations
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent planning, organisational, and project management skills
Experience managing relationships across technical and non-technical teams
Experience working within a project team environment
Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
Experience across infrastructure and software domains preferred
Ability to work alongside developers and understand technical integrations
