Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing sushi dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in food handling, preparation, and presentation
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Proficient in fish filleting techniques
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi rolls in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
  • Demonstrate skill in fish filleting
  • Maintain a clean and organized sushi station
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered promptly
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
  • Assume the head chef’s responsibilities in their absence
