Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing sushi dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Expertise in food handling, preparation, and presentation
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards
- Advanced knife skills
- Proficient in fish filleting techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi rolls in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Demonstrate skill in fish filleting
- Maintain a clean and organized sushi station
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered promptly
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Assume the head chef’s responsibilities in their absence
