About the Company

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join the Sussex Cardiac Centre during a major redevelopment phase under the 3Ts transformation project.

Applications are welcomed from physiologists who wish to maintain broad-based skills or specialise in areas such as:

  • Echocardiography

  • Electrophysiology (EP)

  • Cardiac Devices

  • Routine inpatient & outpatient TTE

  • Dobutamine Stress Echo

  • Adult Congenital & Heart Failure screening
  • Active research involvement (TAVI, ASD, PFO closures)
  • BSE accredited department (since 2008)
  • Weekly review & monthly teaching meetings

Cardiac Catheter Labs

  • Complex structural intervention
  • PCI
  • Dedicated EP Lab
  • RF & Cryo ablation
  • Complex VT & AF ablation
  • Advanced 3D mapping (Carto & Precision systems)
  • Expanding VT ablation programme

Cardiac Devices

  • CRT & ICD implantation
  • Rapidly growing virtual follow-up clinic
  • Physiologist-led ILR implant & explant service

Key Responsibilities
