Job Summary
A South London NHS Trust is recruiting a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology to join its modern, state-of-the-art Urology department.
The role offers a combination of inpatient care, day-case surgery, outpatient clinics, and exposure to specialist urology services. It is ideal for clinicians seeking to further develop subspecialty interests while continuing structured training and research involvement.
The post includes one day every two weeks at Guy’s Hospital for specialist interest development and research participation.

Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and day-case urology care
Conduct outpatient clinics, including:
2WW (Two-Week Wait) clinics
Flexible cystoscopy
TRUS biopsy
Develop subspecialty interests in:
Continence
Prostate cancer
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (PVP & Bipolar TURP)
Urinary stone management
Participate in research projects
Contribute to a 1:6 on-call rota (with prospective cover)
Requirements & Qualifications
GMC registration (or near registration with licence to practice)
Interest in urological subspecialty development
Commitment to clinical excellence and training progression
